£70-90k + 20% salary bonus + good corporate benefits

Our client is a leader in global natural resources adapting fast to the ever changing environmental & sustainability landscape.
This is a new role reporting into the Head of External Comms, working with the UK Board, based in London.
The heart of your role is to create compelling content for the CEO across multiple channels including Linked In, speechwriting & thought leadership pieces.
This content needs to be written in an appropriate tone of voice that is consistently aligned to the Group’s purpose, strategy & values. There is a wider social media & digital team to support you.
You’ll need to demonstrate recent experience of producing fluent, crisp and focused narrative; in both short and longer format eg 150 words to 2000 words, sometimes to deadline & under pressure.
You could be an ex news, economics, political or current affairs journalist/writer who has moved sideways to work in corporate comms agency or in house, for highly regulated industry sectors.
Or you could be working at Westminster in a speechwriting role for a government department or agency, think tank, NGO particularly in climate change.
You’ve definitely been working into senior level decision makers for the last few years, are interested and well read on global affairs, sustainability & the international business landscape.
You’ll be joining at a time when the CEO/Chair’s office and the External & internal Comms team based in London is growing. This means there will be excellent career growth opportunities for you mid and longer term.
