I am an award-winning digital savvy PR professional working within the intersection of Corporate Reputation and Social & Influence, with experience across corporate, not-for-profit, local government, both in-house and agency-side. Last year I achieved the prestigious accolade of PR Week 30 under 30 and was recognized as one of the most influential agency professionals globally by Propel. I am passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion and serve as the Chair of Emerging Talent at the Black Comms Network, recently receiving the BRiM Changemakers Award.
Why I joined NTB
There are so many barriers to getting into the PR industry especially if you’re like me from a council estate in South East London. When I changed career from HR to PR and entered the industry, I did not have the same lived experience and insider knowledge as most of my peers. Diverse representation sits at around 9% according to the CIPR State of the Profession Report (2020), I want to inspire the next generation of diverse PR professionals and show them that this industry is for them and that they can have a career where they thrive by being authentically them. No Turning Back is a fantastic example of an initiative supporting this mission and I am proud to be a part of the Ambassador Team.
