Following the success of last year’s first series of Summer Stars lectures, the Taylor Bennett Foundation have announced the timetable for the 2019 lecture programme and their fantastic line-up of speakers.

The lectures will be held at London College of Communication (Southwark) from Monday 24th June – Friday 28th June 2019. All of the lectures are delivered by PR and communications professionals and cover a wide range of topics from the History of Public Relations (PR), Artificial Intelligence (AI) in PR, PR as board level counsel, Diversity in PR, Crisis Management and much more.

The lectures are suited to both junior PR/Communications practitioners and those looking for a refresher course and all of the sessions are accredited with CPD points from the PRCA and CIPR.

The lecture programme can be found on their website here.

To purchase tickets, please go to their Eventbrite page: https://taylorbennettfoundation.eventbrite.co.uk Here you will be able to purchase tickets for individual lectures, day passes or a full week pass.

Attending the lectures will be circa 50 BAME undergraduates/graduates who are about to embark on summer internships with PR and Communication agencies and in-house teams.

Aside from getting the opportunity to meet a diverse range of young people interested in the industry, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain CPD points and increase your knowledge in the field.

The recent CIPR and PRCA paints a picture of ethnic diversity in the industry as bleak, but with your support they are doing something practical to change that narrative.

All profits raised from the lectures go towards improving diversity in PR and Communications.

Please contact the programme manager for the PR Lectures Catriona Salisbury (catriona@taylorbennettfoundation.org) or the Taylor Bennett Foundation team if you have any questions.
