There’s been a growing call for action following the Socially Mobile Missing Women report led by Sarah Waddington CBE CDir ChartPR, https://lnkd.in/eFtwAH5f
Sarah’s message: “The report highlights a gap between entry levels and management of more than 4,000 female (comms) practitioners in England and Wales who left the industry mid-career or failed to progress to senior leadership roles.
The insights have sparked important conversations about what’s next.
Leading Women is a response from PRCA members and industry leaders to each of the five recommendations from the Missing Women report. It is a series of progressive and practical steps to address inclusion and representation”.
From my seat as a talent partner & advisor to many leaders in the UK & Global Comms sector, it is clear that we are a pivotal time for our industry. Agencies with leaders who disrupt, think differently about outdated linear career pathways and redesign their organisational models cleverly, will thrive.
