And on the subject of Agile working. We have a long long way to go. Lets dig a bit deeper…… What actually goes on at the sharp end of recruiting into all size agencies and in-house teams at all levels is this ….. Many ARE offering flexible and agile working more and more to their current staff but this is not the case for NEW roles. Ask companies how many people they have hired into new jobs on a flexible working week in the last year and you will get an indirect answer. The truth is that less than 8% of jobs advertised in our sector are for flexible working roles. We really haven’t reached a tipping point yet!
