Day 5 of Back2businessship 2024 including the Speed Networking Event
We look back on the second week of our Women’s Career Accelerator programme with 2 of our fantastic delegates Emma McDowell and Anya Keene
Rosie Dalling from LifeHikes® greeted us with her positive vibes and energy. She guided us towards a memorable elevator pitch, replacing non value words with confident silences.
Mid morning, Dean Taylor, Director of Insights and Research at John Lewis Partnership uplifted us again, encouraging us to say ‘yes’ to every opportunity and enlightening us with his insights into current consumer thinking. The virtual Easter egg hunt kept things lively.
After lunch, Rebecca Stasiw, Good Relations joined us, bringing her knowledge into working with influencers, the important role that they play and how to successfully collaborate with them.
Amanda Fone returned to us in the afternoon to nurture our pitches and brief us on the evening ahead. The excitement and nerves started to kick in.
5pm. Speed networking time! The room was buzzing with the coming together of brilliant women, honed elevator pitches and the generous people and organisations who gave their time to encourage and support us. No need to be nervous, what a brilliant evening it was.
