This year we are announcing the Deirdre McKay f1 Values Award to celebrate the life of the wonderful and much missed Deirdre. The Award will go annually to a member of the f1 team who embodies her spirit and determination and the f1 values. The Winner for 2020 is Nick Davies who has been with f1 since November 2017.
Deirdre was full of fun and laughter and she had a unique zest for life. She was a huge support f1 and many of our candidates and clients too. Deirdre was with f1 for 4 years as EA to our CEO Amanda Fone, until she passed away from lung cancer on April 4th 2019. Deirdre worked at the heart of our business. She was the programme co-ordinator for Back2businessship and BAME2020 for 4 years and managed the social media and content for our websites. Above all she was an advocate for the f1 values. These values of Bravery, Dynamism, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Supportiveness and Betterment have been embedded in the heart of the way f1 works both internally and externally. She will live in our hearts and thoughts forever.
