Formula One Account Manager

The Company

A world leading sports and entertainment agency, working with on the strategy, activation, communications and events of 20 leading brands including Volvo, Virgin Money and Gulf Oil.

The Role

This agency is looking for an account manager to solely work on Gulf oil’s sponsorship of McLaren Racing: it’s essentially an in-house role agency side. Within this role, the account manager will have the opportunity to use their extensive knowledge of formula one to guide and advise a global brand on the strategic direction of their partnership with McLaren Racing. As well as coming up with the ideas and strategy to maximise and activate this partnership, this role will include some on-event management, campaign planning, communications, hospitality and experiential activation.

Role Requirements

  • Must have at least 3-4 years experience working on a global sponsorship/partnership
  • Strong interpersonal skills and best in class client servicing, account handling and project management
  • Be highly organised, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Have an EXTENSIVE knowledge of formula one
