Executive Lead – Marketing (Education Sector) £60-75,000

Our client, the world’s leading postgraduate institution of art and design, is looking for an Executive Lead – Marketing, to lead and design a strategic multi-channel commercial marketing programme to help drive recruitment.

The organisation prides itself on its international diversity with the student body set to rise to 3,000 from 2,400 in the coming years and this role will play a key part in international recruitment as well as Executive Education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Devise and deliver a data-driven recruitment marketing programme focused on attracting high quality Graduate Diploma, Masters and Postgraduate Research students from key territories around the world.
  • Work internally with key stakeholders to position and deliver stand-out content to support the institution’s
  • Ensure the marketing programme is fully integrated within the wider Communications & Marketing team’s strategic plans.
  • Manage multiple agencies across creative, media buying and analytics to deliver multi-channel
  • Design and develop marketing initiatives to deliver increased commercial benefit from the Executive Education and Knowledge Exchange teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the Schools, including the Deans, programme leads, and the Director of Research & Innovation and the Director of Development & Alumni Relations, to support key business imperatives, partner arrangements and development opportunities with marketing activities.

The successful candidate will be expected to be comfortable designing and presenting the marketing programme to key stakeholders within the senior management team and will help develop team members across the marketing and communications mix. Furthermore, the role requires a successful candidate to have experience within the education sector, preferably at a university,  and be able to clearly evidence a robust understanding of changes within the sector and how universities are approaching pressures on student recruitment.

This role presents a unique opportunity for an Executive Lead – Marketing to play a pivotal role in reaching the organisations targets within recruitment and help build on a student body with already 65 different nationalities.
