Applications to back2businessship are now closed, you can read more about it on our blog here:

Following its huge success last year, we are delighted to announce that the back2businessship Programme is running again in September 2015. This year the three partners running the event are Starcom Mediavest Group, Golin and f1 recruitment.

If you are a mum returner and have worked in media, communications or marketing, are planning on picking up your career in the next 6-9 months, have been out of the work place for at least three years and are not currently on maternity leave then please read on. This is your opportunity to attend a 7 day course to gain a new perspective on your skills and learn how to position yourself back in the job marketplace.

Our programme offers those selected the chance to take part in a 7 day series of workshops, across September/October 2015 covering a wide range of areas including personal development coaching (including skills identification and exploration of values, life roles and future ambitions), personal impact, commercial awareness and how to market yourself as well as navigate the recruitment process upon your return to work. We will cover the world of work today and bring you up to speed with the fast changing pace of the media/communications marketplace, with talks from some leading figures in the industry. The days will offer flexibility around childcare with most days being run from 10.30am-2.30pm rather than 9am-5pm.

If you would like to be considered then please apply with your CV and include your answers to the following questions in the body of your email (max 150 words per question)

1 – How would this experience make a difference to you?

2 – What makes you the ideal candidate to consider for our Back to Businessship

You need to be able to attend every day of the programme and stay from 1030am – 230pm on the following days: 15th/16th, 22nd/23rd, 29th/30th September and 6th October. There is no cost to the course. The course will take place at two central London locations.
