This is a really exciting opportunity for a sales professional with a proven track record in finding, negotiating and closing big deals to join this leading Rights Holder. Not only will this person need to live and breathe deal-making but they will have the confidence and business know-how to operate at an extremely senior level.
This new role has been created to ensure that Tottenham Hotspur continues to build its sponsorship portfolio and drive vital turnover at a time when success and reputation are at an all time high. Seeking out sponsorships that are in-line with its brand identity and assist in meeting business objectives will require an experienced individual who understands the part sponsorship has to play in growing a brand and its customer base.
You will need to prove that you have repeatedly brought in business, and know the value both financial and otherwise, of those deals to the companies in which you have worked. This is a sales role not an activation role so whilst you will need to understand how new partners can add value, you will be happy to get the contract signed and hand over the account management to another team. It is not vital that you have come from a sports background but it is vital that you have experience of, and are comfortable with, building and maintaining relationships with very senior people. You will be at a stage in your career where you have proven successes but are still keen to continue selling rather than moving in to a more general management position.
