This global communications consultancy is looking for a Director to join its award-winning UK Corporate & Financial practice heading the Financial & Professional Services team. Reporting to the practice’s Managing Director, the role has a seat on the agency’s Management Board and co-manages a P&L.
With at least 10-12 years experience in financial services PR, most recently in a senior agency or in-house role, you have outstanding skills in b2b and b2c communications, reputation management, crisis and issues management. You will have an exemplary understanding of the news agenda and how this impacts on the clients within the practice group. You are accustomed to understanding complex issues and creating meaningful and impactful campaigns. Clients in the Financial & Professional Services team fall into the specialist areas of consumer and corporate banking, personal finance and investment, venture capital, insurance and pensions, legal, executive search, FX and stock exchanges. The team also has particular specialism in raising the profile of CEE based clients within the sector.
You are a strong leader who has worked in a major UK or global agency and led international campaigns, working with and advising FTSE 100 or internationally recognised corporate brands. You have excellent new business development skills from relationship building through to leading a pitch team; strong people development skills and a track record in running a high-performing team; and you are comfortable with financial reporting.
This role provides the opportunity to work with a truly international team of consultants, managing multi-market programmes across the EMEA region on a daily basis.
