Our client is building an interdependent network of corporate communications consultancies across Latin America. They have a clear mandate to become a recognized leader in corporate , financial communications and government affairs across the region whilst setting a new benchmark for professionalism in client servicing. They will operate to the highest ethical standards to deliver strong measurable results.
Their client roster already boasts leading global brands wishing to extend their reach in the LATAM emerging market. These organizations have to brand build awareness and influence opinion among key government, financial and regulatory decision makers. Clients are typically within heavy industry sectors: energy & environment, transportation, mining & metals, and agribusiness. Our client’s service offering includes, media relations, stakeholder outreach, corporate reputation, government relations, social responsibility and sponsorship programmes.
We are seeking an entrepreneurially minded Country Manager for Mexico City to build and lead the local office. The three key business drivers for this role are client servicing, business development, team leadership and staff development.
Corporate communications/pr experience within an agency environment is essential (time in house is fine but you MUST have worked within the last three years for a pr agency) and preferably you will have relocated more than once in your pr career within CEMEA or Asia Pac. You are culturally aware and able to adapt easily to new professional and social environments. Hungry, flexible and commercially savvy your colleagues would describe you as tenacious and driven with an outstanding track record in corporate communications. Spanish/Portuguese preferred but not essential.
