Digital Director – New Digital Communications Venture – c£85k + incentive scheme – Central London
A rare opportunity has arisen for a talented, passionate senior digital communications specialist to establish a new digital communications company within a highly successful FTSE-listed marketing services group, developing integrated digital campaigns for existing blue chip group clients and proactively building business.
A high flyer and entrepreneurial in spirit, you will relish this unique opportunity to establish a new brand, vision and P&L – to set up, develop and run your own show, including recruiting a team, within the security and infrastructure of an established and renowned group. Based in Central London and reporting to the group Board, you will work closely with the group companies to maximise the opportunity for integrated digital communications programmes.
Working within agency and ideally with PR experience, you are a senior digital specialist who is totally convincing at a senior strategic level whilst also able to deliver at an executional level. Your experience will include online PR/reputation management; digital campaign planning gained within a PR, advertising or specialist digital agency; a thorough understanding of the way on and off-line programmes integrate together; strategic and creative campaign development; planning/managing engagement programmes through social media forums (both user created and brand hosted) and websites/microsites; a deep understanding of digital content (briefing/managing technical practitioners); expertise in search optimisation and in analysis of web influence/metrics; a passionate interest in, and knowledge of, technologies, trends and opportunities within the digital space.
With expert knowledge of key business sectors, your client servicing prowess is excellent and you are practiced at providing key counsel to senior clients as well as possessing strong, hands-on team leadership capabilities. A compelling presenter, you have a proven new business conversion track record.
