This high profile and well-established agency in sports sponsorship activation is seeking a senior Olympics Hospitality Account Manager to work on global household name clients

You will have experience of devising, managing and executing sporting / hospitality events using your previous Olympics experience. It is a criteria of the role that you will have worked in Beijing or Vancouver and have at least 3 Olympics under your belt. You must have excellent attention to detail as well as the ability to think strategically and lead a team from conception through to slick execution.

The role will involve managing team logistics and travel arrangements, overseeing financials and ensuring the delivery of events is within budget as well as managing service levels internally to ensure profitability of your client accounts. In addition, you will schedule onsite activities and supervise delivery on the ground.

Further background in securing business partners and leveraging relevant relationships will be of benefit in this role, as will an understanding of working with experienced colleagues to oversee communications plans in line with client objectives. A very good working knowledge of how corporate hospitality fits within brand communications is a must: given the high profile nature of the client and Olympic brands, you will need to demonstrate credibility in your counsel and a broad understanding of the sponsorship field as well as an in-depth working knowledge of the experiential arena. To this end, you must have superb relationship building skills and be confident liaising with a diverse range of suppliers, stakeholders and third parties.
