A chance for a PR Account Director or Senior Account Manager ready to make the next step, to work on a high profile golf account together with other sports clients. This will include international media relations across Europe.
An outstanding opportunity for an Account Director to join a down to earth and friendly PR agency with an interest in helping people to get the most out of life! If you are passionate about Golf this will be an exciting account for you to lead as you will be will be responsible for increasing TV audiences, website hits and coverage of a major Golf event.
The main sports account this will be working on brief to reach out beyond specific enthusiasts to more of a lifestyle audience throughout Europe.
You will need to be an expert at handling clients and multiple stakeholders as there will be many involved, and you will need to create consistent messaging across all parties. You will need to be creative with stories for the lifestyle and sports press, with the ability to implement a clear media path. There will be budget management so you must be able to manage accounts to ensure they are profitable, and make sure that your team works to their prescribed hours. You will have a team of 3 reports – an Account Manager, SAE and JAE. There will also be another big account for you to head up, but this will be allocated depending on your strengths / interests.
As the focus of this brief is to expand the public interest in the event across Europe, languages will be beneficial and an understanding of the European media landscape is essential. The team are all quite hot on digital media, so you will need a good understanding of how to use social media and forums to create buzz.
