This is a Strategic Planner or Senior Strategic Planner position at a top tier PR and communications consultancy that has a superb class of consumer brands and entertainment clients in addition to strength across corporate, public affairs, insight and more.

This is an agency that works on big accounts with big ideas - they are creative and manage large scale, often integrated campaigns for high profile clients. They are confident, highly motivated, driven sparky and clever. They house a broad range of talent from across the communications industries and pride themselves on both their strength in depth and diverse backgrounds and well as some of the best PR’s in the business.

This role is almost positioned as a consultancy within a consultancy – the Planners don’t hold the client relationships but they do, inevitably, have client contact and need to be able to navigate the internal networks as well. The successful candidate will be quite heavily involved in new business development as well as working throughout the lifespan of client accounts, with particular emphasis at the conception stage. A fairly significant part of the role will revolve around strategic reputation management for corporate brands that have a strong consumer facing bias. This will provide a challenging, stimulating and heavy-hitting environment where you will be working with the cream of the agency’s management.

With existing teams of Planners and Insight professionals, this is not a stand alone role; working in these teams requires an ability to work with internal account leaders while providing credible, high level client counsel.

This could be a different role for a Senior Planner – as a slight change in focus – or it could be a career defining role for someone at Planner level who would like to push the boundaries of their craft and consolidate their trade in an alternative environment.
