You will be responsible for managing the brand’s relationship with the business, city and consumer press, fielding an exceptionally high level of related calls. You will handle all reputation and corporate brand issues - from regional and national to global level. The role will also require you to manage the company’s financial calendar (all trading updates and major milestones - AGM and annual report) and drive brand PR. You will take ownership for several key elements of the business, and devise and implement PR strategies for these areas.

This will suit a talented corporate communications professional, who thrives in a fast paced environment and possesses gravitas. Ideally you will have a good degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, Business Studies or similar, together with previous experience of working in corporate PR for an established brand. You will need to be calm under pressure, measured, with a mature approach to your workload. A self starter with credibility, you will enjoy the challenges posed by confrontational media, and dealing intelligently with newsworthy issues.
