One of the most exciting, innovative, liberating and fun global brands is looking for a PR Manager to focus on their cultural activity and events programme.
As part of the Communications team, the role has 2 focuses - to develop and implement the PR strategy for major national events - you will work with media partners, co-ordinate onsite logistics, manage agencies and suppliers and an on site Press Office. The second area of focus is to use PR to leverage relationships with leading personalities in the entertainment and culture industry.
You will probably be working for a PR agency as an Account Director or Senior Account Manager, have experience developing the PR strategy for big music or entertainment events - or developing the PR activation strategy for a brand sponsoring an national event. You will also be used to working with youthful and up and coming brands and using celebrities as part of the PR campaign - whether they are ambassadors or endorsing a brand/product. You will be an ideas person with the ability to write creative strategy but also not afraid to get your hands dirty and implement campaigns. Ideally some of your campaign experience will have a music focus and through this have developed contacts in the music industry.
Experience working with a range of stakeholders is key - being used to engaging them and including them in communications activity. You will be used to identifying creative and innovative broadcast opportunities and fully utilizing digital platforms. You will be an excellent relationship builder - a listener, a diplomat, an influencer and used to managing expectations.
