This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a top notch senior sales executive to join a fast-paced international business environment working across a range of industry sectors including aerospace and security. Your role will be to sell overseas exhibitions to UK companies wanting to export.
Your goal will be to meet and exceed sales targets across multiple industries by managing and up-selling existing clients, generating new business and attracting SMEs, and boosting sales of sponsorship packages. You will forge relationships with clients, key trade associations and government departments in the UK, as well as with multiple offices across the globe.
Your role will include recruiting exhibitors through targeted sales campaigns, including telesales, face-to-face meetings and onsite prospecting; conducting market research for new events and markets; and working with the marketing team to compile and implement marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to sell, over the phone and face to face, and have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
A strong strategic thinker, you will understand UK export trends and destination markets and be able to assist with the development of business strategy. Excelling in customer service and account management you will have international business and cultural awareness. Fluency in a foreign language is an advantage and this position involves frequent overseas travel. You will attend international industry events and enhance the domestic and international reputation of this company’s world leading exhibitions.
