Description:
A boutique US owned sports sponsorship & marketing agency, part of a global network, is looking to recruit a new MD to spearhead growth in the UK . As well as managing the UK London office you will be overseeing the servicing of their key accounts, business development and future growth of the company. You will have considerable marketing experience in the sports industry, experience of sponsorship strategy and a track record in pitching and winning new business whilst overseeing existing flagship accounts. Knowledge of UK & European markets is essential; exposure to working across sports, lifestyle and entertainment with some Olympics & Football track record is preferred. You will have exemplary business planning skills, the ability to run a P & L and an understanding of how to work in a small agency as part of a larger more complex media bigger group. Your contact base will stretch across rights holders, blue chip brands and media owners and your knowledge of integrated marketing solutions including digital/broadband and mobile is measurable.
