Fiona Arnold – Senior Partner

Fiona started working in recruitment in 1997 for a leading media recruitment company in London managing their graduate recruitment team and developing a work placement programme for leading marketing and media companies across London. She joined f1 recruitment llp in September 2003 as a Senior Partner. Fiona recruits at all levels for the f1 client portfolio with specific focus on search assignments. Her client portfolio includes leading sports marketing agencies, sports governing bodies, associations & federations.

Sarah Robinson - Senior Partner

Sarah has over twenty years comms experience working across a broad spectrum of industries. She started her career at Ogilvy & Mather Advertising and, prior to joining f1 in April 2008, was Managing Director of PR agency Consolidated PR. As a founding Director, Sarah played a major role in building the business from a start up with one client to a leading UK agency, with a varied blue chip client list including American Express, the COI, Eurostar, Greene King, KLM, MTV, Virgin Mobile, Walt Disney. Under her tenure, the agency went on to win the PR industry’s most prestigious award, Consultancy of the Year (2001); open a Scottish office in Edinburgh; develop a Public Affairs team; launch a digital PR service. Fostering a cultural environment within which people could excel, Sarah is proud that, for four consecutive years, Consolidated was voted in the Top 30 of the Sunday Times 150 Best Small Companies to Work For. Sarah is an industry commentator on leadership and employee matters and an industry award judge. She has a BA Hons in English Language & Literature from Oxford.

Mark Fone – Finance Partner

Mark qualified as a chartered accountant with Grant Thornton. In 1992 he joined ICI Plc’s Group Finance team working on the demerger of Zeneca from ICI. Over the subsequent eight years he gained significant experience of corporate finance and risk management issues, working on operational matters as well as major transactions in ICI’s treasury function. He left ICI in 2000 as senior finance manager and finance director of a number of UK and International subsidiary companies. In December 2000, Mark joined Static 2358 Limited as group financial controller; the company was sold to Open TV in 2001. Following the sale, he became Chief Financial Officer of the global content business until December 2003, driving Static’s integration with Open TV and being instrumental in the growth of the business internationally. In February 2004 Mark joined Optimistic Network as Chief Financial Officer responsible for finance, legal, general management and human resources. Since August 08 Mark has been at Bruce Dunlop Associates a leading TV and digital promotional production company in Soho. Mark is a non executive partner of f1 responsible for all financial, accounting and legal matters for the Partnership.
